You can now buy bus only and bus & rail tickets on MCard Mobile.
Ticket Information
MCard Mobile tickets offer unlimited bus only or bus and train travel across West Yorkshire on any bus or train, excluding special services.
The range of tickets include off-peak and peak day, week or month travel with discounts for under 26s, students, group or family travel.
Off-Peak Times
Off-peak tickets allow bus travel after 9:30 Monday to Friday, and travel by train between 09:30 to 16:01 and after 18:30 Monday to Friday.
You can travel all day on weekends and bank holidays by both bus and train.
Proof of ID
If you are aged under 26, you may be asked to show ID to prove you’re entitled to a discounted ticket. You can show your Under 16, 16-18, Under 19 or 19-25 or Student MCard or show your passport, driver’s licence or NUS card. If you are a full-time, mature student over the age of 26, you will need to show your 19-25 or Student MCard. To apply for this PhotoCard, take proof that you are a full-time student to your nearest Bus Station Metro Travel Centre.

- Weekly tickets for unlimited, all day bus travel or bus & train travel throughout West Yorkshire. There are options for travel in certain rail zones within West Yorkshire
- Monthly tickets for unlimited, all day bus travel or bus & train travel throughout West Yorkshire. There are options for travel in certain rail zones within West Yorkshire
- Family & Group DaySaver tickets for unlimited, off-peak day travel on buses and trains
- The Family DaySaver covers up to 5 people i.e. up to 2 adults and 3 concessionary travellers or 1 adult and up to 4 concessionary travellers. Concessionary travellers can be children under 19 or Senior or Disabled PhotoCard holders. Concessionary travellers should carry their entitlement PhotoCards.
- The Group DaySaver ticket covers any 5 people.
- Only one ticket will be issued, therefore families or groups must travel together. Simply show your ticket to rail staff in order to access or leave through rail gates.
